Child & Family Services

At its heart, the Child and Family Services program is about helping families grow. We partner with adoptive and foster families in the Phoenixville area, creating space for healing, understanding, and stronger relationships between parents and children.

Who This Is For

Adoption and foster care can bring challenges that are difficult to navigate alone, whether they're related to behavior, attachment, family dynamics, or a child's history. Child and Family Services at The Sparrows supports the
entire family, including biological children affected by adoption or foster care. If your family is struggling, this program may offer the support you're looking for.

What Makes
Our Approach Different

Most therapists see either the child or the parent. We see families together because the relationship is our client, not the individuals within it. Our goal is to help your family build the language, tools, and understanding to ultimately do this work without us.

What Success Looks Like

We want children who can tell their story. We want parents who understand why certain things are hard. We want families to see themselves as growing rather than broken. Most of all, we want parents to feel ready to move forward without us. We don't always know when that moment will come. When it does, we name it together — and our door stays open after that.
