Yes. We have a waiting list, and it is not first-come, first-served. We balance our caseload thoughtfully, and families with more scheduling flexibility tend to get in faster. When you contact us, we'll do a free intro call first so that if you're going to wait, you know exactly what you're waiting for.

No. We do not bill insurance. Our current rate is $135 per hour, which is below the standard market value for clinical care. We handle financial needs on a case-by-case basis.

Because the relationship is what we're working on. Most therapists see one person at a time. We believe that for adoptive families, the bond between parent and child is the thing that needs support, and you can't build that bond without both people in the room. To our knowledge, no other clinician in our area takes this approach.

Banks is our therapy dog, and he is present in almost every session. Working with him gives children and parents a chance to practice social and emotional skills in real time: reading nonverbal cues, managing frustration, giving and receiving care. For many families, he's a significant part of why the work moves forward.
