Together Called
A weekend for couples to slow down, find each other again, and remember you're not alone in your family’s journey.
A Room Full of People Who Get It
Adoptive and foster parenting carries challenges that many people around you may never fully understand. The joy is real, and so is the weight. Together Called exists because couples need more than a weekend away—they need a room full of people who understand without explanation.

Built For Real Connection
Together Called is a marriage retreat held each spring at Bear Creek Mountain Resort in Pennsylvania. The goal is simple: to give couples space to slow down, enjoy one another, laugh together, and spend time with other people who understand the joys and complexities of adoption. It's a weekend of meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and the kind of connection that's often hard to find in the middle of everyday life.
Not Your Typical Marriage Retreat
Couples share meals, meaningful conversations, and time away from the demands of everyday life. The sessions are designed to foster connection—both with each other and with the material. But some of the most memorable moments happen in between: over breakfast, in the hallway between sessions, or late at night with a couple you just met who somehow feels like an old friend. While Together Called is rooted in the Christian faith, all couples are welcome. By the end of the weekend, many couples leave feeling refreshed in their marriage, and with a community of people who understand the unique joys and challenges of foster care and adoption.
